Bonjour Miami by Edu Danesi
Bonjour Miami Exhibition by Edu Danesi
Danesi brought to this exhibition a collection of his most acclaimed works, offering the public a unique opportunity to dive into his singular artistic vision.
The Bonjour Miami exhibition, which took place on March 28 2024, featured the iconic paintings on Porsche hoods, one of the highlights of Danesi's work.
Additionally, visitors had the chance to appreciate the paintings that use a mixed technique of layering posters taken from the streets of Paris. This series of works reflects Danesi's ability to transform everyday urban elements into deeply meaningful and visually stunning pieces of art.
“Welcome to "Bonjour Miami: A Journey of Colors and Emotions" featuring the captivating works of Edu Danesi. Originally hailing from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Danesi's artistic journey has taken him across continents, with stops in Belgium and France, where he currently resides. Transitioning from photography to painting, Danesi's multidisciplinary approach incorporates techniques ranging from painting and collage to graffiti and stenciling, applied on diverse surfaces including canvas, wood, metal, and even body parts.
Danesi's art speaks a universal language, transcending borders and cultures. His works are imbued with a fusion of influences, blending the precision of a photographer's vision with the expressive strokes of a painter's brush, all infused with a hint of his Brazilian heritage. Central to his artistic philosophy is the belief that every image must evoke something, whether it's an emotion, a memory, or a thought.
In "Bonjour Miami," Danesi invites us to immerse ourselves in a world of vibrant colors, sensuality, and positivity. Each piece in the exhibition is a testament to the artist's eclectic style and his ability to evoke a spectrum of emotions through his art. From bold graffiti-inspired murals to delicate collages bursting with energy, Danesi's works capture the essence of both French sophistication and Miami's dynamic spirit.
As you explore the exhibition, prepare to be dazzled by Danesi's mastery of visual storytelling. Whether it's a whimsical depiction of everyday life or a thought-provoking commentary on contemporary issues, each artwork offers a unique glimpse into the artist's rich imagination and profound insights.”

The Emporium Brazil Design Gallery, during the Miami Design Week, unveiled the beautiful commemorative exhibition celebrating the 10-year career of the visual artist Gian Luca Ewbank entitled – “It is What it is”.

His work involves the richness of the encounter of media, techniques, and ideas, paving the way for new trends and possibilities. Strongly influenced by Pop Art, the artist signals and tensions provocative and metaphorical issues related to mass culture, pop iconography, and urban environment.
The multiple character of the materials and the encounter between word and image are two mainstays of Gian Luca Ewbank’s poetics. Initially, one can notice this affection and persistence in labor and a fascination with different materialities. Apart from the pieces on canvas, this thought of juxtaposition and mixing of diverse elements expands into the space in the artist’s three-dimensional works.
It is relevant to perceive that the artist formulates works especially with the correlation of writing. He is explicitly enchanted by the mixture between message and appeal, transparency and presence, as well as the seductive and decodable scope that is located and navigates with skill.
The discourse has more connections with persistence and an uninterrupted fascination with the alchemy of creation, between material and concrete making, flanked by robust concepts to establish themselves amid such liquid and volatile times. Ewbank subverts logic and, through his catchy authorship, calls us to a critical position, which digests consumerism and the mass media activated in the arts of the 1960s, and helps to question and resignify direct concepts of this complex world today.
